Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using On the Go Hire.
By accessing www.onthegohire.com.au and/or hiring one of our items, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to On the Go Hire’s Terms & Conditions, then you may not use the service.
1.1 On The Go Hire states that the rental price is calculated according to the rental period chosen by the customer and is inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (“GST”).
1.2 The price of products, services and delivery are current at the time of issue. These prices may change at any time and On The Go Hire reserves the right to do so as its sole discretion.
1.3 On The Go Hire reserves the right to accept or reject your order for any reason. These many include, but are not limited to, a customer’s hiring history, the unavailability of an item, an error in the item’s listing (including price or size) or an error in the order.
1.4 A client’s contract with On The Go Hire is formalised once a confirmation of order and payment is sent/recieved.
1.5 On The Go Hire will not reserve an item until the hire fee/bond has been paid in full.
1.6 All prices listed at www.onthegohire.com.au are payable in Australian Dollars.
2.1 On The Go Hire states that all items are hired for a maximum of 4 days in duration, unless stated otherwise.
2.2 The hire price at On The Go includes a 4-day item rental and dry-cleaning.
3. Pick up and Return – Newcastle Area ONLY
3.1 On The Go Hire requires you to pick up your item/s on the first day of your hire period from our Newcastle CBD location.
3.2 On The Go Hire will include a complimentary pre-paid return satchel with all local hires. Please use this to post your item/s on the last day of your hire period over an Australian Post counter or via a yellow Australia Post box.
3.3 On The Go Hire reserves the right to charge a $20 late fee for every consecutive day until your hire has been returned.
3.4 After 14 days the item is deemed a non-return and the client will be charged 100% of the Recommended Retail Price (RRP) as listed on the On The Go Hire website.
3.5 In the event we lose an order due to a delay, On The Go Hire reserves the right to charge additional hiring fees.
4. Return Postage – The Rest of Australia
*Please Note: Australia Post are currently experiencing delays as a result of COVID-19. On The Go Hire is not to be held accountable if a delivery is not met due to these conditions*
4.1 On The Go Hire posts all orders via Express Australia Post. This includes next-day delivery in all Australian capital cities. Please allow for extra time to regional Australia.
4.2 All weekend orders will be posted by 12PM on the THURSDAY of your rental period. On The Go Hire aims to ship orders out earlier when available to do so.
4.3 On the Go Hire is not responsible if an expected delivery is not met due to Australia Post delays.
4.4 Returns are to be posted by 5PM on the MONDAY of your rental period. A pre-paid express satchel will be included with your item. This is to be signed by the customer on the front and lodged over the counter at an Australia Post facility or placed into a yellow Express Post box.
4.5 On The Go Hire reserves the right to charge a $20 late fee for every consecutive day until your hire has been returned.
4.6 After 14 days the item is deemed a non-return and the client will be charged 100% of the Recommended Retail Price (RRP) as listed on the On The Go Hire website.
4.7 In the event we lose an order due to a delay, On The Go Hire reserves the right to charge additional hiring fees.
5.1 On The Go Hire reserves the right to charge a $50 bond in addition to the hire price of an item.
5.2 On The Go Hire offers a 100% refund of the bond. This is on the basis that:
– an item is returned on the last day of your hire period
– an item is in the same condition as it was upon delivery
5.3 If the terms and conditions are met, the bond will be refunded within 10 business days of its return. The bond will be automatically refunded to the customer’s original payment method.
6.1 Once a hire fee has been paid it is strictly non-refundable.
6.2 For any reason, including but not limited to, the garment does not fit, customer change of mind and/or cancellation of event, On The Go Hire cannot offer a refund of the hire price.
7. Garment Care
7.1 On The Go Hire takes photos of all items prior to customer delivery to ensure the utmost quality of our garments. If an item is deemed below a like-new condition, we will not send it out. In this case, the customer will be offered an exchange, store credit or full refund.
7.2 The customer accepts full responsibility for the safekeeping of the apparel once in their possession.
7.3 It is an expectation that all garments are returned in the condition that they were received by On The Go Hire.
7.4 Dry cleaning is inclusive in the hiring price and therefore, the customer must not attempt to clean the item themself.
7.5 If an item is damaged whilst being hired, it is the customer’s responsibility to inform the On The Go Hire team ASAP.
7.6 If an item is damaged, the $50 bond will be used to cover the cost of repair. If the cost of repair is quoted above $50, it is the responsibility of the customer to pay the difference.
7.7 If an item is deemed beyond repair on its return, it is the responsibility of the customer to pay the full RRP of the garment (as listed at www.onthegohire.com.au) within 14 days of it being returned.
8. Client Responsibilities
8.1 The customer shall immediately notify On The Go Hire of any damage to the garment that occurs during the hire period.
8.2 The customer shall keep the garment in their own possession for the entirety of the hire period and shall not assign the item over to someone else.
8.3 The customer shall not alter or interfere with the garment in any way.
8.4 The customer shall return their item/s by 5pm on the last day of the hire period.
9.1 As a customer of On The Go Hire you understand and accept the Terms and Conditions listed above.
